APPROVAL OF CONTRACT WITH YMCA AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY TO PROVIDE AFTER SCHOOL TUTORIAL SERVICES TO HOMELESS STUDENTS DURING SCHOOL YEAR 2006-07
Description
The YMCA will provide after-school tutorial services for homeless students at various locations throughout Sarasota county for the 2006-2007 school year. The contract will not exceed $25,000.00, and is being paid from Title I funds as stipulated in the grant application.
Recommendation
That the School board approves the contract with the Sarasota YMCA to provide after-school tutorial services to homeless students for the 2005-2006 school year.
